Tabacon Hot Springs - closing times?

Hi, unfortunately I was unable to get a booking at Tabacon Resort for May 29, 30 but I booked nearby. Does anybody know the times that the hot spring park is open and closes at? I would like to go there later in the evening? Also, what is the admission fee?
Many thanks, Aine

Dear Aine,
Don't be sorry you didn't get a room in Tabacon, a lot of people are very disappointed with them. The good news, is that you can go to the hot springs anyway. They recently changed their prices and I just called and asked about it. It is a little compicalted, let's see if I got it right:
morning shift (11AM-2.30PM) - $29
Evening shift (7PM-10PM) - $19
All day pass with lunch - $39
All day pass with dinner - $41
All day pass with dinner and lunch - $49

I hope it helps. Feel free to write me directly as well for any more information.
Pura vida,
Neta Talmor

When we were there in December, we paid the $29 per person in the morning. We left about 1:00, did some other things, then returned for the evening about 6:30. We were still wearing the bracelets we had received in the a.m., and we got right back in with no problems. We did not buy a meal with our admission. Don't know if this works all the time, but it worked for us. I think they closed at 9:00 or 9:30 p.m. We left before 9:00. I am thinking that was the closing time, actually.

Just got back from Costa Rica Wednesday and the Tabacon Spa was definitely the highlight of the trip. The prices above are accurate. Except I think the $29 is for any time before 7 PM. We went at 6 and paid $29 each. It closed at 10 PM.

Thanks alot Neta! Now I really feel good about my stay at the Tabacon, lol. Thank God fluffnfold liked it- at least I don't feel so bad.

I have noticed however, that the food comments about the Tabacon have improved- something about a new chef. Maybe the Director of housekeeping will be new by the time I visit haha.

Thanks so much for your responses. I was in this area before for a couple of hours but did not notice any restaurants really. Is the only one in Tabacon, or is there something better around here? Thanks again. A
