Stressing, need professional HELP!

O.K. all you C/R experts we need you opinions.
All the trip reports (I think we have read all of them) sound so WONDERFUL we can't decide where to go. I know this is a normal theme for newbies and you all are so patient in answering all our questions, but we really need your help so we can stop stressing.

Info to know:
-first time to C/R
-traveling mid May
-concerned about rain.
-beach is not a high priority.
-Staying 8 nights with late arrival first night.
-want to stay at Peace Lodge for a couple of nights.
-Activities we would like to do: whitewater rafting (beginner, just one day), canopy tour, hot springs, encounter as much lush jungle and wildlife as possible(we are both big gardners and animal lovers).

The dilemma we think, is between Arenal (Lost Iguana) and Bosque in Osa. We really would appreciate any and all opinions.
Thank You!

We are going the same time. We are staying at Costa Verde (manuel antonio)
Bosque del Cabo, and Peace Lodge. We have done months of research and are very happy with our choices. We've been satisfied that it won't rain all day, everyday. I would describe us as animal and gardening people.

Hi,
I am going in May, and June, and July.... I live here. And, go to all the places you talk about every day.\
Professional.

Ok, coop.... this is the plan.
late night, Alajuela or San Jose ... want to see the Capital, make it San Jose... see it in the a.m. before going up to La Paz. Two nights up there... ok, white water on the Sarapiqui. Get a private transfer to Guapiles early in A.M. and meet the Pachira to Tortugero Jungle... at Suerre Restaurant for breakfast. Get a private transfer to meet you there when you return 1 or 2 days later... they will take you to La Fortuna/ Arenal. You WILL see animals... you will see jungle, rainforest, cloudforest, birds, iguanas, monkeys, caymen, crocodiles and LOTS of plants.

hop
feel free to write!

Whereever you decide to go, BOOK EARLY! At least at Peace Lodge. I almost got shut out when I tried to reserve there.

Centralamerica.com is a helpful site.
