I am the Maid of Honour in a wedding in November in Puerto Vallarta. We are all staying at the Now Amber. The bride wants to do a spa afternoon the day before the wedding with about 12 girls. Any recommendations on where I should book this for her? We want it nice, but not cost the earth nice, ya know?

hmmm... I can usually answer PV questions but this one's got me stumped. I guess I'd look to the other hotels in the Hotel Zone near where you are staying to see who has day spa services available.
The places I know near where I stay (centro/south-side) are very low-key, like for a massage or manicure/pedicure, nothing most people would consider a "spa" really. Nor would they fit 12 people at the same time ;-)

Another choice would be the Spa at the Sheraton Hotel which can be found at http://www.sheratonvallarta.com/servicios_spa.php.
My former clients used either one of these and were very pleased with all of their services.
