soccer in Costa Rica
Hi,
I have a husband and two sons who love soccer and would love to see some good soccer in Costa Rica. I don't think we'll be in SJ to see any games. Any other ideas??
Thanks!

Soccer games are usually held on Wesneday evening and Sundays during the day. Alajuela, Cartago, Heredia, San Ramon, Liberia, Puntarenas, San Carlos and San Isidro de El General all have teams that are part of the first division national soccer league.

The first division league is called the Union Nacional de Futbol (UNAFUT) and it has a website at:
www.unafut.com
It's all in Spanish. There doesn't seem to be much of a future schedule listed because I think they are in the season championships. I really don't follow this stuff that much. The schedule shows tomorrow night's games, but nothing farther ahead than that.
