Silver and tourquoise jewelry?

Years ago a friend of mine from Mexico City brought me a beautiful silver and tourquoise necklace and earring set, but sadly, someone broke into my house a week later and it was stolen. Where would you all recommend I go for beautiful silver and tourquoise?

Assume you mean where "in Mexico"? Most places that cater to tourists will have beautiful silver jewelry, some with turquoise.

Having said that, Taxco is the silver jewelry capital of Mexico, with literally hundreds of silver shops in a small picturesque town hanging on the side of a mountain. You will have so much to choose from it will make your head spin.

For sure Taxco is where you want to go, and a beautiful place on top of your silver shopping.

Oh, Frances, sorry about that! But you'll get there one day, and it will be a much better trip than the one you were planning. Really, you did not have enough time to enjoy the wonderful places you were going to. Have you started planning your Mexico trip?
