SHORT REPORT ON OSA EXPERIENCES

Just wanted to let you know a couple of our experiences the last 10 days or so.

First, I was concerned about the weight of our photo equip. and Sansa's allowances. There was no problem taking everything with us and while my husband's "carry on" was too big to carry on, he could check it and they didn't charge for an extra bag. While there was a problem at Puerto Jimenez that caused us to fly into Golfito and boat across---Sansa was great about making connections work for us.

2nd, BOSQUE DEL CABO deserves every accolade that it has received! We stayed in the Casa Blanca house and had a great time there. Food was good, trails neat to hike---very relaxing.

Next time, we might not come back!

That's it??!! That's all we get? C'mon some details for those of us pining for our next trip. All that camera equipment - you must have some snazzy pics to post? Glad you loved BdC, I've been threatening to stay there every time I go!

I'm with Tully...that's it? Puhleeze we need more, more verbage, more pictures..oops some pictures and a full in depth novel like report.
We've stayed twice now in Casa Blanca, this time (going in May) a cabina. I asked hubby if he thought that guests staying at CB would mind if I just show up and sit on the deck?
We had great animal sightings there and I know I will miss it.
So lets have a report please??

Ah JBella, you have caused a BDC info frenzy. More info would be great since we fly out in a week.

I have a backpack full of camera equipment that I won't let Sansa take from me unless they pry it from my cold fingers.

Could you not talk them into holding the carry-on on your lap during the short trip?

I have been worried about what equipment to take and have cut back on a few items because of it (only taking one camera body for instance).

Anyway, please do post pictures. Or at least describe some of the wildlife you saw and where. This is our 2nd trip so we know the lay of the land at BDC.

Thanks

Alan

I'll try to get a couple of pics soon to show you. Unfortunately to get the good ones, we have to sort through the more numerous "bad" ones.
We're back to the "real" world and the demands of time but because everyone has been so helpful, I'll try to hurry.

But, all of you who have been to CR already KNOW what we experienced. Friendly, helpful and loving people. God's beautiful examples of his natural Creation, the wildlife, the birds, the colors, the warmth.

As I "come down" from the trip, I'll post more if I think of something helpful or something you may be interested in.

Pura Vida!!!

jbella,
Looking forward for the pictures. Yes, everyone who's been there before KNOWS what to expect, but us, beginners need all the help we can get.

We'll be there in less than 2 weeks, so please hurry up. Neeed to show us what you did with all that equipment.

We'll fly Sansa, too - and my camera bag flies with me, on my lap. I hope they don't ask me to choose between checking in that or DH

parrmt: When in May are you going? We'll be staying in Casa Miramar 5/20-23...I'm sure in exchange for a cerveza my husband will be willing to share the view from our deck!

jbella: This will be our first trip to BDC so I would love to see your photos too.
