Just flew Volaris OAK to BJX last night, One 55# bag checked, one personal item & one small carry on bag all at no additional cost.

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions. We have decided to check in one luggage. However I still think it's a rip-off to charge for each bag to check it since it's an international flight. But that's just my opinion.

And BTW. Just because it is like that, doesn't mean it's good or even OK... So complaining is OK. Only then can we make a change, unless somebody actually likes to pay extra for his/her luggage.

CharlieTh~~ If by "complaining" you can get the airlines to stop charging for checked luggage, I will personally refund every cent you have ever paid to check a bag!
