We are staying in Chacala for two weeks at the end of February. Looking for guidance on the closest grocery store? Where is a Chedraui or similar in the closest neighboring town? We will be driving from Puerto Vallarta so we will have many options to stop along the way for groceries the day we arrive, any suggestions for a supermarket in our path? We will hit Costco in PV as well on the way.

If anyone is familiar with this area and has suggestions for activities we would love suggestions. A few things we are considering are a fishing trip out of Chacala, whale watching, Nayarit Coast La Tovara Jungle Boat Tour. Possibly check out the street market on Thursdays in La Penita. Any suggestions for zip-lining or scenic hikes?
