Royal Decameron Costa Blanca

We've just booked for a week's visit over New Year's. Any comments regarding the rooms, beach, service, food, etc? Also, what is in the area of interest that doesn't require a tour? Thanks.

I reccomend you to spend some time in the city. Decameron is fine if you like to be only in the beach. food, service, entertainment, all is fine but thanks god i took a package that includes 3 nights in the Caribbean (Bananas), 2 nights in Panama City visiting the city, dinner with show, the canal and one Indian Village 100% real, not show, just at a few minutes from the modern city (is the most modern of Central America far away from the others...)...the rest of my 12 days vacation was in Decameron. don´t take tours from the hotels they are very expensive and crowded...

write to: [email protected] (i don´t remember exactly but they offer me the best tariffs for any kind of services in Panama...)

Good luck!

Rodraad, thanks for the website, it answered a lot of questions for us. Also gave a lot of ideas for what we'd like to do with our week. Vanessa

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Royal Decameron Costa Blanca.

The room was large and well maintained. The were seven restaurants to chose from and the meals were excellent in all. Generally, hotel staff were friendly and the service was good.

However, the hotel is 90 minutes to two hours from Panama City and there are no small towns close to the resort. However, we did go on a few day trips and they were all great. The hotel offers a very good variety.

Vanessa
