Road to Uvita
We're planning on driving from Monteverde south to Uvita. We read that the road from Manuel Antonio to Dominical is not paved. Has anyone recently driven down that way and was is as bad as ('Lonely Planet') paints it? Or any other suggestions?

It used to be very bad! It is now paved and a beautiful!

We did a trip to Manuel Antonio a few years ago, and the roads were awful with huge potholes. We just did a recent trip and were amazed at how great the roads were, almost better than back home.
