Riviera Maya Best area for 2 bedroom condo on beach?
Hello,
Planning stage of winter trip to Riviera Maya , my daughter and son in law will be joining us. Hoping to find a nice condo with very easy access to beach with beach set up available and close proximity to a lively town. Stayed at ShangriLa Caribe and loved it a few years ago but we need a condo and wifi this time so any advice most appreciated. Do not want an all inclusive.

Email me if you want more info, as I know of a nice 2 bedrm w/wifi one block from beach in quiet part of Playa del Carmen, but with easy walking access to 5th Ave.
If you want to be on the beachfront, prices go much higher. El Faro is one nice condo complex on the beachfront to look at, and owners there usually have wifi in their condos.

Hi there, I have a good friend who rents condos all over the Mayan Riviera area and is very knowledgeable about where to rent and why. His name is Bjoern and his email is: [email protected]. Bjoern has lived in a couple of different areas of Mexico and I believe he's been in the Playacar area now for over 6 years. He will be able to help you for sure.
Good luck!

Here are a couple sites that may be helpful:
http://www.brisacaribe.com/
http://www.luxurylatinamerica.com/re...vieramaya.html
But I suggest you attempt to look through as many resources as possible before making a decision. Make sure all terms are laid out clearly. Hope this helps.
