Resort in Riviera Maya

My husband and I are planning a trip to Riviera Maya in Feb. We love the beach and relaxing. Someone has recommended Secrets Capri. Has anyone been there and what do you think?

I don't think this place gets very good reviews. CHeck out tripadvisor.com

A great choice would be Royal Hideaway...

I second Royal Hideaway. My husband and I were there in June and it was one of the best (if not the best) vacation we have taken.

Check www.skyauction.com for some of the best rates for RH.

There's actually a discussion I saw on another forum (maybe Tripadvisor's own?) about those not so great reviews of Secrets, if you want to search it out.

I've been monitoring reviews and the little popularity ranking at Tripadvisor for well over a year now, and until the other day, Royal Hideaway was always in the #1 spot. What's more impressive is that I only saw them knocked out of it (by Ikal del Mar, for the record) for one day! Then they were right back in it. Maybe they weren't really knocked out and it was just an issue related to update that site or something. And anyway, I'm not sure what factors they use to determine that ranking. But still, pretty impressive.

Hi gold,
For the beach and relaxing, you cannot beat Maroma. We have been twice and will probably go again in February. Great service, good food, wonderful spa.
