Rental car needed at Bosque Del Cabo?

I like having a rental car but I'm trying to decide if I really need it when I get to BDC? Spending 2 weeks in CR with last 4 days being there. I found out i could rent car through Solid Car Rental and return it in PJ...then fly back to San Jose. But my question is what do most people do? I thought that it may cost around the same price for transfers and taxis that it would for me to just keep the 4x4 for the entire trip and turn it in the morning we fly out of the Osa. Any opinions from the BDC experts welcome!

Absolutely, positively, without a doubt leave the car behind.

We didn't see anyone at BdC with a rental car there.

I think it would cost much more to keep a rental. The transfer is $30 per person round trip, so $60 per couple. If you go horseback riding or want a pick up at the beach, they divide it up if there are others with you. I think my beach pick-ups usually run about $5 when with a couple other people. I can't imagine using it that much though so I would just turn it in when in PJ.
