Rehearsal dinner in Puerto Vallarta

Hi all -- Our son is getting married in Puerto Vallarta in May. I'm looking for any suggestions regarding the rehearsal dinner (probably for 20-30 people). Any experiences with charter dinner cruises, or good restaurants for a group? Thanks!

Look into La Palapa. They have tables set up right on the beach that would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner. Although i do not know from personal experience if this do this for a group you can always e-mail them and ask.

I agree w/lvitaly it is a beautiful location and one of my favorites I go every visit to P.V. I wouldn't do a cruise the ocean can be quite rough and I wouldn't take the chance on people getting seasick.

I think the trick's going to be the large number of people. Several places I like, that would be the entire restaurant!

La Palapa would be fantastic, but pricey for your crowd. For inside restaurant, look at Brazil. The variety is the thing that might appeal to your crowd. It is $15.00 per person (plus drinks). Starts out with 3 salads. Then several types of meat (chicken, chorizo, turkey, pork, steak, etc., which comes out on a large skewer (all you want). They slice pieces off the skewer then go back for the next type of meat. The restaurant is fun when full because the waiters with the skewers are fun characters.
