Anyone know if there is a Red Tide in Manuel Antonio? If so how long does it last? We will be arriving next thursday, will it effect us?

According to a post on the Trip Advisor Forum it arrived on the 21st of this month.

any news of how long it will last? IS it just one beach or all in manuel antonio?

We get it here in FL often. There is no way to predict how long it will last, the last one we had here was for several months. When we get it here, some beaches are affected and some a couple miles down aren't. If MA is still having problems when you're there I would head a little south and see if the water is better (and safer).
