PV Weather in May in the Evenings - jeans okay?

My girlfriends and I are going to Puerto Vallarta the first week in May. We will probably hit a few bars while we're there. Just wondering if bringing jeans and tanks for our nights out will be too hot.
I've been to PV in August and it was too hot then but thought possibly May might be okay.

If the places you will be hanging out are near the ocean, you may get the breeze. But for the most part, we wear skirts either long or short, breezy little dresses. Jean are perfectly ok but if you start dancing, you may be too warm. Yet we do see lots of the natives and younger tourists wearing jeans. So, as you can see - it's whatever! Have a great time. Make sure you go to Pepe's for dinner and tequilla, then the Zoo!

Jeans are OK fashion-wise, but for me would be *way* too hot anytime of year in PV. Bring a pair if you like, May will not be quite so hot or humid as August but still plenty warm.

Hi I agree w/Suze it will be much too hot for jeans I suggest either cropped cotton pants or capris or skirts I was there in May and wore only these. Also shorts for casual dining.

i'm not much of a dress or skirt wearer, so like butsey suggests I wear cotton capris, rayon palazzo style pants, or even loose knee length shorts in the evenings.

little flippy skirts or sundresses would be good too.
