pv hotel toss up~

HOLA
I am planning on a trip for 1 month or more and these buget hotels sound like the price I would like to spend. which is the best...Casita Las Palomas, Eloisa or?????? I would like to be really close to the ocean, downtown and keep it fairly cheap. Is the any great places to stay for long term stays. I know that casita las palomas offers your fourth week free but is this hotel clean, safe and close to everything? You know if it's to good to be true sometimes it is..... muchas gracias amigos!

The hotels you mentioned are good choices, I would pick the Eloisa if it were me however. Another great little hotel is Hotel Posada de Roger. They have their own website so you can check it out if you want. Good luck.

Posada Roger used to be a good choice, but it's not on the ocean and they just built a Senor Frogs right next to it, so the rooms are now really loud. A friend stayed there and called it a boom boom room.
La Rosita is right on the beach, right downtown, family owned and very inexpensive. It's also one of the oldest hotels in town. Great little place.
I don't know of Las Palomas. There are around three with the same type of name, so I can't help there. Eloisa is okay.
If you need any advice on Vallarta, let me know. I've lived here for 20 years.
Margot
