The 20 plus times I've been there the weather has been great. Not one complaint except that in June/July on two separate visits it was too hot for my kids and mom. Me, I loved it but if you don't like heat and humidity, the summer wouldn't be my choice.

Of course everyone knows it's hot & humid in the summer time at coastal sea-level towns in Mexico. And rainy season in Aug/Sept specifically. That's why it's considered "low season" for NOTB tourists and lower lodging prices reflect this.

The weather in Puerto Vallarta is pretty much perfection (if you like clear skies, sunny days, a light breeze, and daytime temps in the high 70's to low 80's F) from December thru May.
