Playa Del Carmen Resort

What's the best resort for a family of four, including two sons 19 and 22. Fishing, Golf and wonderful beach are all that's needed.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record on this forum but Las Palapas is the best resort in PDC. It is on the very best section of beach and it is a 5 minute stroll to the beginning of 5th Avenue's pedestrian section. We loved the nightlife on 5th avenue (and the daytime activities also) and the beach at our resort was fantastic. As far as golf...maybe you have to go to Playacar for that.

Right now there is only one golf course in the area other than Puerto Aventuras and that is in Playacar. Fishing charters can be arranged from a variety of places by doing a search. Captain Gus is supposed to be pretty good. The best resort depends upon what you need. Are you looking for AI or not. In town (PDC) or not. Price range and proximity to beach are also varied. If you give more info you may get more specific answers.

The Iberostar Paraiso complex recently opened a wonderful golf course. There are three hotels on the property---Lindo, Maya, Del Mar, and Beach. The beach is huge and wonderful, pools are amazing, activities all day if you want to participate, plenty of lounge chairs if you want to relax. Fishing trips can be arranged at the resort.
