Just read something in Traveler magazine about people showing up at the airport with e-tickets and being denied -- apparently the paper tickets got lost in the mail and they never knew they needed them. That was a different airline but it made me want to double-check that the e-tickets that I got when booking my LAN flights will be all I need.

I used etickets on Lan in Peru last year with no problem. I only have etickets for our Lan flights within AR this Fall which a travel agent got for us.

I've done E-tickets with LAN many times. It works out fine.

I had an e-ticket on Lan and they refused to let me on the plane. They said I wasn't confirmed on the flight even though I had a boarding pass. I had to go to AA (which was closed) then to the airport manager's office to get things sorted out. I finally got a new ticket and was on my way out of Lima to Cusco.
