Star Peru Airlines?
I know that there have been some posts on Star Peru Airlines but I was hoping to get some more current feedback on them. They are a fraction of the cost for a flight between Lima and Cusco compared with Taca or LAN, but I've read that Star can be less reliable, has more cancellations.
Has anyone flown on them recently, good/bad experiences? I am trying to keep costs lower due to planet tickets between the US and Peru having skyrocketed as of late, but would pay the money if it's a better idea just to go with LAN or Taca.
Thanks in advance for responses!

We flew with them two days ago from Juliaca to Lima. Seemed like a normal flight to me. Plane fine. On time.
By the way we are sitting in a hotel in Lima. Continental cancelled our flight home yesterday. Four different reasons given. No good connections home now. I think Star Peru looks great in comparison.

Took Star Peru Arequipa to Lima last month. They were fine. Maybe 20 minutes delayed due to an air traffic controller kerfuffle. Unlike LAN who I fly Lima to AQP, 1 hour late for no apparent reason.
Do not fly TACA. There is no logical reason to pay more for them.
As far as LAN, if you have a very tight schedule and are talking ONLY about flying between Lima and Cusco, they do have many more flights on that route. They may cancel you but you have a better chance of getting out the next day.
