Peace Lodge: 2 or 3 nights

Is there enough to do at the Peace Lodge to stay an extra night vs. spending that extra night in Arenal?

We thought 2 nights was just right. One night would be a bit short if you arrive late in the day. 3 certainly okay--it's a lovely place, but I think I'd rather spend more time at Arenal!

I vote for two nights as well. We did one night at Peace Lodge and and found it was just right for us. There are many more activities to choose from in Arenal.

Costa Rica has a lot natural things to offer...two nights there good enough...and like the ICT slogan said...NO ARTIFICIAL INGRIDIENTS...100% NATURAL!!

If you arrive early in the day, one night would probably be enough. Our flight got delayed, and we didn't get there until late afternoon and had to really rush to see everything. If you arrive late in the day, I would do two nights. If you get a chance, do the nocturnal frog tour. The Trout Bar is a good spot for an early dinner. I think the Peace Lodge and Arenal is a great combo for a trip.

I think you will be happy with 2 nights. By the time I got to my room it was about 2pm or so, and most exhibits close around 5 or 6, so I would've been rushed if I had to leave the next day. Having that extra day was nice as I could stroll around as I liked and see all the exhinits, trails & falls. Ditto on the Trout Bar, great food, not so crowded as the other (buffet) place. Definitely do the frog tour!
