PDC luxury hotel on great beach?

My husband and I are looking for a more upscale luxury hotel in or around PDC. We stayed in Puerto Morales at Ceiba del Mar a couple years ago and enjoyed that but we are wanting to try something new. My husband loves the beach so a good beach is a must. We aren't into the party atmosphere but rather a quiet adult hotel. We don't care if it is an AI or not if we are close enough to PDC to go into town to eat. We really liked the small size of Ceiba as opposed to some of the giant resorts. So does anything come to mind? Thanks

Luxury AI in Playacar might be the Royal Hideaway..they were just awarded the AAA five diamond award. Not as expensive and in town on the beach AI would be the Royal Porto Real. For non-AI boutique hotels or condos how about Villas Sacbe, Royal Palms, Fusion or Illusion.

I've been eyeing the new condos right in Playa called Luna Encantada. They look very nice.

I've seen it and really like the color and setup. I walked past on the beach in August. It's between Calle 4 and 6 so it's at the south end of town.
