You can go from Bariloche, Argentina to Puerto Montt, Chile by a combination of buses and catamaranes , this is an extraordinary experience. It is called the Lake Crossing and cost is $160.
There are also many buses that link Bariloche and Puerto Montt, cost is $15 to $10 dollars depending on the company you use.

To go to Calafate from Retiro bus station in Buenos Aires you have to take a bus up to Rio Gallegos which takes 36 hours and costs 150.00 pesos or 180.00 pesos depending on what service you take. From Rio Gallegos you have to take another bus which takes 4 hours and costs 35.00 pesos.
