Panama City - B&B or hotel recommendation?

Hello travelers. Would appreciate a B&B/hotel recommendation. Six of us are concluding our holiday in Panama City, arriving from Colon. We are looking for 1 and 2 nights accommodation - preferrably a B&B with charm and comforts (after nearly 3 weeks on a sailboat) and not terribly far from the international airport. We would like to stay in an area convenient enough to give us a good taste for the what the city offers. Recommendations? Thanks!

Not overly charming, but a good value: La Estancia B&B. Very close to one of the best restaurants in the city: Manolo Caracol

I'll check that restaurant out Jill.

This is definately a great location IMHO.

Possibly going back in March, flights Montreal-PC direct yesterday were $254
return tax included!!!! Incredible.

I also stayed at La Estancia; I'd definitely recommend it! It's true, it's not "quaintly charming", but the location is great and it's a friendly atmosphere.
