Oaxaca tours website

Has anyone taken any day tours from those listed on the http://oaxacainfo.com/ot.htm website? The name used is Oaxaca tours. We will be in Oaxaca for a week in January and do not want to use local buses to go to the archeological sites and local markets. I don't know if we should go with someone through them or use iether one of the guides people on thsi website recommend or someone the people at casa cid de leon, where we are staying, recommend. Any thoughts from you Oaxaca experts? We don't want anyone within Oaxaca except for the English walking tour someone on here recommended (I have to look back to get the name).

There are about 100 fully licenced guides in Oaxaca. Most of them do their work very well but if you are asking for someone with a lot of knowledge you can try

We used Jose Maria Binca Morales as a guide for two days. He lives in Oaxaca City and knows the entire Oaxaca Valley very well. He drives a new car clean car and speaks English well. He can be reached at 518-6818.

Most any taxi driver will be glad to rent their taxi by the hour and give you the grand tour of the Oaxaca Valley. First time we went to Oaxaca years ago a taxi driver made the offer and we had a great time going all over the place for a couple of days. A taxi would be cheaper and more felxible for you. Ask where ever you are staying and see who they recommend.
