NEED ROYAL HIDEAWAY ADVICE
I WILL BE MAKING RESEVATIONS FOR ROYAL HIDEAWAY SOON. HAS ANYBODY STAYED IN THE SUITES? ARE THEY OCEANVIEW OR JUST BIGGER ROOMS AWAY FROM THE BEACH? ANY TIPS ON EASY CHECK-IN, CHECK OUT? ARE THE NEIGHBORING PROPERTIES FAR ENOUGH AWAY? ANY ADDITIONAL HELPFUL INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRICIATED.

There are properties right next door to RH on each side. That is the one thing we really didn't like about the Playacar resort area, it is one AI after another lined up on the beach, which means the beach is very crowded. There are not very many oceanview rooms at the RH, make sure you pay for the luxury oceanview category if you want an oceanview. Sorry, can't comment on the suites. The resort is almost always at or near capacity so there is little chance of an upgrade. Also, make you dinner reservations before leaving home if you don't want to be stuck with 6:00 or 10:00. We loved RH, the food was fabulous -- I just wish there were more oceanview rooms and a less crowded beach.

HI<BR>We had a great time at RH. There are hotels on both sides of the resort, but it did not bother us. The regular room is nice. We did not upgrade beacuse we figured we would not be in the room that much. forget the ocean view, it's dark at night. it is not directly on the ocean. find out about the rooms with a hammock. those looked great. check in is very quick. it is a small property so dont worry about lines. Go to XELHA for the day. great time. the town is 5 minutes away and we went for lunch and dinner as a diversion to the resort. we really enjoyed PDc. We are going to Maroma resort,15 minutes away in 3 weeks.
