most secluded bungalows/casitas?

we're planning a last-minute beach getaway for July. the fantasy? a comfy bed in a little hut on a very secluded bit of beach where we could sunbathe or skinny dip or whatever without ever seeing another soul--except when we ring a little magic bell and someone appears with great food or to tidy up the room. does such a thing or anything close to it exist?
basically, we want the privacy of a vacation rental but we don't want to have to drive or cook. good snorkeling, diving, or surfing would be gravy.
Is El Tamarindo worth the money?
Is Majahuitas as bug-infested and plagued by daytrippers as I've heard?
Are we better off in Belize or elsewhere?
We're traveling from Southern California and any advice on where to find our fantasy island would be greatly appreciated.
best,
bc

Been to Tamarindo, yes it is worth the money. So is Cayo Espanto in Belize if you're willing to spend the bucks!

It's not Latin America, but Palm Island in the Grenadines sounds like what you described. Every cottage and beach area has a privacy flag. And they are not on top of one another. It is on it's own island and it is all inclusive including drinks. There is no driving, great snorkeling, and I have read the service is warm and friendly. Looks beautiful and is on my list of places to visit. Do a google of palm island grenadines and see for yourself

The last reply sounds more like Petit St Vincent than Palm Island.
