montezuma water taxi
we want to take the water taxi to montezuma. We want to fly in the day before and head to Jaco area to catch the taxi in the am. Where would be a good place to stay for one night? We would like some atmosphere for our first night. We really don't want to spend much more than $100 a night

Escazu is the opposite direction of the highway to Herradura.
The Poseidon is a hotel in a great location in Jaco--a kind of honky tonk surf town with lots of good restaurants and lots of action. You can take a short taxi ride from there.
