Can anyone recommend a specific Montaverde night hike over any other? Thanks

I did the hidden valley night hike once. It was pretty cool, can't speak of the others, only been on the one. I think I paid something like $25 for that so IMO totally worth it. One of the cheaper tours you can do. Only lasts a bit over 2 hours or so.

We did the Hidden Valley night hike as well. We got put into a great group, so it was a lot of fun. We hiked around in the dark with our flashlights and got caught in a torrential downpour, but we still managed to see a sloth, a fox, a raccoon, a tarantula, and a porcupine, as well as some cool birds.

Is it necessary to book a night hike before we get to Costa Rica, or should we be able to do that easily once we get to Montaverde?

We booked ours through our hotel once we got there.
