Location of Sansa and Nature Air Terminals?

We are planning to fly out of Quepos back to San JOse International Airport, but are confused as to whether or not they fly into the main international airport in San Jose, or do we have to get in a taxi and transfer once we land? If this is the case, are we better off driving from Si Como No in Manuel Antonio to San Jose? We need to make a 12:05 p.m. flight back to the states. Do both Sansa and Nature Air use the same airport terminal? Thanks for clearing this up.

Sansa flies to the SJO, whereas Nature Air has a separate airport. I believe you can walk from Sansa strip to SJO Int'l.

It's about 5 minute walk to Sansa, I really wouldn't bother with a taxi, just walk out, turn left and follow the sidewalk. Here is a google earth marked up so you can see how close: http://pls.photosite.com/Album1/SJO_Sansa.html

Nature Air leaves out of Pavas and is about 30-45 minutes away by taxi.

Pavas (Nature Air) is about a twenty minute (without traffic) cab ride from SJO.

There's a map showing both here

Keep in mind that on return trips from Quepos to San Jose if you advise the Nature Air people beforehand they will drop you off at Juan Santamaria.

I don't think Nature Air makes stops at SJO anymore. They used to do that, but it was only on a couple of runs when they were scheduled to stop there. I don't think it was ever on demand for any flight.

Thanks all for your help. Have decided to hire a driver after all since we will have two kids and lots of bags.
