linking Teotihuacan and San Miguel de Allende

I'm trying to figure out transportation connections between Teotihuacan and San Miguel or Queretaro. I know I can bus in and out of Mexico City but wonder if anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks

I am unaware of any other way to do it. Depending on traffic it is only about 45 minutes from the city. If you wanted to see some of Mexico City- like the Basilica of Guadalupe it would be easy to combine with a trip to Teotihuacan. Bus to the City, take the metro to La Villa, for the basilica, then on Indios Verdes where you can get a bus to Teotihucan right when you come up out of the Metro. Or just take a bus to Tapo, then a bus to Teotihuacan from Tapo.

Thank you Dude.

We'll be in Mexico city for a few days before Teotihuacan. I'm wondering it it's possible to avoid returning to Mexico City by paying mucho dinero for a taxi that would drop us of along the Queretaro bus route. Any ideas which towns would make most sense?
