Latin America Forum Poll: Should this forum be split in two?

As some of you may know, Fodor's has been working on an upgrade to the Forums for the past several months. While the "new" Forums will look very similar to its current self, we are making major changes to its supporting community platform.

I have occasionally received questions from new posters looking for the South America forum. We have considered changing this set-up in the past; this seems like as good of a time as any to revisit the idea.

Do you have any suggestions or comments related to how this forum is currently organized? We are considering breaking the forum up into two separate forums: "Mexico and Central America" and "South America."

What do you think of this idea?

Below are the countries/locations that would be featured within each forum as categories. Any comments, suggestions?

Central America and Mexico

Mexico
Belize
Costa Rica
El Salvador
Guatemala
Honduras
Nicaragua
Panama
Mexico

South America

Argentina
Bolivia
Brazil
Chile
Colombia
Ecuador
French Guiana
Guyana
Paraguay
Suriname
Uruguay
Venezuela

Great idea! South America definitely needs it's own forum, as does Central America and Mexico.

Definitely a must. This will help narrow down the comments for each section.

Yes, they should be separate.

I also agree. I'll probably end up checking both forums, but it seems like a good idea.

Yes! At the very least the split you suggest is much better.

The one thing I love about your existing format is the fact that an entire thread is on one page. PLEASE do not change that. I will read more and participate more if I don't have to keep flipping pages after every 5 added comments. This is why I have used this site 90% opposed to the others in planning my upcoming trip. I have been persuaded on several occasions to go to another site and do research there but I do not like the other formats.

Also support splitting the forums - it'll be easier to track threads.
