KaiLuum; AnaYJose or other?
My husband and I are considering a week at Kai Luum II or Ana Y Jose however are still open to other suggestions. Any feedback on the 2 places? We stayed at Shagri La Caribe 8 years ago and enjoyed it.
Our priorities are:
1. Great beach
2. Good food
3. Quiet, relaxation
Thanks!

You might have a look at Cabanas Copal, or the more exotic Azulik. Located on a very nice, secluded beach; good restaurant and close to several other good ones; friendly, helpful staff.
Check their websites:

Hi,
Just wondering if you chose a place to stay or if you've gone already? We're thinking of Kailuum in June but haven't made the reservation yet.
I have a good review from my uncle who went last April, if you're interested I can forward it to you. I'm also thinking of other places nearby. I would be interested in what you choose! It's been overwhelming trying to find somewhere over the internet!
Thanks!
Sandra

the LA Times had an article about the
Mexican Carribbean last Sunday, and I think the travel writer stayed at Ana Y Jose, but not sure. Anyways, the article should be found free online at latimes.com
