I do, I really do! LOL! No, I just thought how serene and peaceful in the middle of the rainforest...aka hotsprings! Is it outdoors, indoors, maybe it's really no big deal. This isn't a deal-breaker for me for where I stay or anything...just curious.
Are you having as hard of a time as I am deciding what to do next CR trip?

oh hvc I've got 8 months to come up with a million different plans lol. Actually 6 nights are definite (5 at BdC & night before deoarture at Orquideas). Then I'm leaning heavily to 4 nights at Banana Azul. Then that leaves me 4 nights up in the air. I was thinking maybe Arenal again, plenty to do in the area, connections work relatively smoothly etc - just not sure. Too many options!
The bath house does sound interesting. Hopefully someone that has stayed there will chime in. Don't you just love all this research
I mean I hate it sometimes but it's like OCD - I just can't stop. Are you going back to Banana Azul again? How private was the little area in front of your room, where the pond was?

Yep, and I had forgotten you actually have a Nic trip up first!
Yeah, we're going back to Banana Azul.
Well, the patio outside the Red Frog room is supposedly a "common area", but since all the other rooms are across the driveway, and the upstairs one's have a balcony, and the downstairs one's have the patio, no one ever came over there uninvited. Except Collin and Roberto (live upstairs, Roberto teaches English to elementary students), who you will love, and some of their animals. They have dogs and cats, so hopefully that doesn't bother you. The dogs really aren't supposed to come on the patio. There is a path between the house and the laundry room (duplex on 2nd floor) and so you will see staff traffic. The bedroom windows we left open all night, which are huge with decorative wrought iron, are very open to anyone who walks by. Around the patio is garden, so you don't have a good beach view. To be honest, the views are prettier from the other upstairs rooms. BA isn't a super private place because the upper deck runs the length of all the rooms, and each room has a sliding bamboo thing to partition or their area, but you're still on the same deck as everyone. The Howler Room probably has the most privacy, because it's on the corner with the best views (and jacuzzi tub), but also more expensive. We thought about taking the one next to Howler, but so far are sticking with the Red Frog room. Whew! That was a mouthful.
