Ixtapa is more like P.V.Cabo is dry and different but nice in its own way.Also with Ixtapa you have the added bonus of Zihuatanejo just over the hills.

Zihuatanejo is situated on a beautiful bay. We rented an apartment on the water that we found through the internet.Zihuatanejo is real Mexico, if that's what you want, Ixtapa is more like modern a more sterile.

Dan, I didn't see anyone asking Tenacatita. Why do you persist in advertising when this board specifically requests no advertising?
