Ixtapa or Los Cabos?

I'm trying to figure out which would be better suited to myself and husband. We're looking to go sometime in January 2002 and have been to PV and LOVED IT!
Any thoughts on resorts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ixtapa is more like P.V.Cabo is dry and different but nice in its own way. Also with Ixtapa you have the added bonus of Zihuatanejo just over the hills.

Thanks for the quick reply Joe.
Is Zihuatanejo near the ocean? I've read alot of good things about both I and Z. Can you recommend a hotel?

Zihuatanejo is situated on a beautiful bay. We rented an apartment on the water that we found through the internet.Zihuatanejo is real Mexico, if that's what you want, Ixtapa is more like modern a more sterile.

The Bay of Tenacatita just north of the Manzanillo airport. Real Mexico!

adios!
[email protected]
www.choice1.com/villamontana.htm

Dan, I didn't see anyone asking Tenacatita. Why do you persist in advertising when this board specifically requests no advertising? At one point, I thought I might be interested in visiting that area, but I am really tired of your shameless advertising. It may be real Mexico, but you're real annoying.
