I assume you are referring to the Dry Torgtugas off the Florida Keys. If I'm wrong, just ignore this. If I'm right, then I guess the question is what you would be looking for there. We went there about a year or so ago and it was a wonderful day. For me, the history of the fort was really interesting and the boat ride out was fun (although a bit rought that day). Unfortunately the snorkeling was pretty lousy because it had been so rough and the water was churned up. But I have talked with friends who went this year and had fabulous snorkeling. Hope this helps.

If you are talking about the island off the Nacoya coast, I think you can get there cheaper than 90 pp. We thought it was fun and interesting. When we went it was abandonded with only the people on snorkleing trips there. It was fun.

There is a catamaran trip out of I believe Punteranes, for approx $90. Then the small boat trips from Montezuma and MalPais for around $40 - $50.
We went from Montezuma and felt it was well worth the $40 pp. This trip lasted from around 9 AM til 4 PM, with plenty time for snorkeling, lounging on the beach, exploring the island. Also included a delicious grilled fresh fish lunch, with veggies and fruit, soft drinks, juices and beer.
The catamaran, I am sure would be fun. We saw it come around the island, sure was a lot of people on it - of course that was in Feb.
We very much enjoyed this day.
