Is this a good air fare USA to BA?

I have seats held on Continental for a RT from Phoenix to BA for June/July 2008. Fare is $920 RT. Seats will be held until Aug.9. I've been looking at fares for the past few weeks and this seemed to be a decent price. Has anyone seen lower fares recently from the western USA to BA? This is our first trip to South America so I don't have a feel for what is a good price. The fares have jumped up to $1379 today. I'm so glad I held the seats yesterday.

That sounds pretty good to me. It's not much more than what it would be from NY and we have nonstop flights from here. If you are going in July, I don't know if it would get much lower that.

Here is a good source to determine relative values of fares to/from any destination.

Thanks Dr. D I did check that site as well as Orbitz, Kayak, airgorilla. WOW! Fares have skyrocketed in the last few days! We're buying our $920 tickets today for our first trip to Buenos Aires! Appreciate your help on this and other BA questions.

I found booking directly from COPA airlines (partnered with Continental) the cheapest way to go. On 7/27, I paid $866 (fees included) for RT between LAX and BA in January. Good luck!
