Is JW Marriott Cancun water safe?

Is JW Marriott Cancun water safe?
Going to Mexico for first time next week. Staying at JW Marriott Cancun. Have seen a wide range of advice about traveler's sickness. JW is supposed to have filtered water. Can I drink that or should I stick to bottled water?

All of the hotels/restaurants in the hotel zone have specially filtered water. We have gone to Cancun perhaps 5 times, have stayed at the JW once, and have not gotten sick. Just be careful of what you eat/drink when you leave the hotel zone (ie. go downtown).
