Int'l driver's license for buggy in Buzios?

Does anyone know if we will need one for this purpose? Hope this isn't a dumb question, was just uncertain as to whether the buggies count as "real cars", or were considered more on par with a golf cart, etc. that would not require this type of permit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't know for sure but I doubt it, it's not like your going out on the highway with it, everybody uses them just to get around Buzios and hop from beach to beach.

hiya
I would def say you will as Buzios is not that small a place and you'll be going on many roads to different beaches, and also for insurance purposes. You may be able to use your american one as it's for a short time. If I have any news I'll let you know, Im off to Buzios tomorrow

Hi, can anyone recomend a reputable company to rent a buggy from? I've read on other sites about a company adding charges to your credit card after the fact. Thanks!
