Interjet Airline

I would be remiss if I did not do a short report on this most excellent airline. I flew then a couple of times in the past but nothing recently.
I have forgotten how efficient & comfortable airline this is.
The plane on my flight Leon to Puerto Vallarta was configured with two seats on the left side & 3 on the right. Al seats are flull sized not the reduced skimpy ones that most lines now have.
They provide lots of free snacks & free drinks both hard & soft,
The best part is the price. At $56 US (booked 4 months earlier) it was actually considerably cheaper than the bus & took less then 10% of the time.
I most hardily recommend this airline.

I agree. We flew MIA to MEX on Interjet and returned MEX/MIA/BOS on AA (using ff miles). Interjet was better in every respect.

From Interjet website today
19. How many kilos of luggage is allowed to be carried?

Each passenger has the right to transport as part of the franchise of:
Checked baggage:
In all our flights, national and international are allowed from 25 kg of luggage up to 75 kilograms documented in suitcases of 25 kg each.
Hand luggage:
The luggage that you take with you when boarding the aircraft, should not exceed 10 kg in total, It is considered hand luggage such as: hand bag, lap top bag, diaper bag, hand bag, backpack or items that can be placed In the upper compartments or under the seat.
Excess baggage:
If you exceed your checked baggage allowance of 25 kg, excess baggage can be transported according to the aircraft's capacity. The amount at the time of the documentation is $ 50 MXN on domestic flights and $ 5.00 USD on international flights per additional kg.
In case you need to bring sports equipment or your pet, check our excellent prices or find out how through your incredible rates your transportation will not have an extra cost for you.
PS I had two checked bags of a total of a bit over 100 Lbs plus a carry on/

I was on AA from GUA to Dallas, and from Dallas to SFO the other day. Everything about the flights was fine, including the seats, which are actually 1" wider than those on Interjet according to SeatGuru. Really, I'm just curious what's so much better about Interjet.
