Inexpensive Airfare to Acapulco

I am trying to fly to Acapulco from New York in November for a friend's wedding. I know it is going to take the better part of a day to get there, but I would rathe not have to pay $500 a ticket for me and my husband. Any ideas?

Also, will hurricane season be over by then - Nov 16?

$500 is about average for that route. You might try Continental out of Newark. It probably isn't going to be any cheaper than $400, though. If I found something under $450, I'd grab it.

It is rare when hurricanes hit the Pacific coast side, and yes should be well past by November.

I never find plane tickets that cheap flying Seattle to Puerto Vallarta (appears a similar distance?).

Sorry, Not DFW, but JFK.
I was in a rush to complete some retirement benefit applications.

I booked my flight from LAX to ACA in June for traveling in Aug through Travelocity.com. At first, their price was compatible with the price quoted by USAir, but a week later USAir raised their airfare while the price from Travelocity remained unchanged. Airfares do fluctuate overtime so you may want to check often with Travelocity, Cheaptickets, or Orbitz.
