Hotel Kau-Yatun-Calafate-Any thoughts on this place?

We are having such a hard time to find a nice place in Calafate. Has anyone stayed at Hotel Kau-Yatun? I found it in the Fodor's book.

Hello rjbriskin, Were you successful in tracking down information about this hotel? I am booked to stay there and am also curious. Thanks.

serenahr- We are leaving on Friday and we haven't heard a thing about this hotel except what we read in the Fodor's book. So I guess we are taking a leap of faith.

We stayed there in November. Its a very nice hotel, clean comfortable and beautiful grounds. You can easily walk into Calafate.

Thanks to you both. I haven't come up with too much either but based on the travel agent who has booked this for us feel confident that it will be fine. Also, I did find these photos on the web which look quite nice. http://www.danheller.com/patagonia-kau-yatun.html. Have a great trip.

sereneahr- We just got back and kau yatan was really nice and very charming and well located. It is near town and only 1 hour from the glaciers. You will be very happy there.
