I have to make a quick decision and need to decide between three hotels in Cancun, all costing the same, none of them all inclusive. It looks like they are all in the same general area, so which is the nicest of the three-Hilton Cancun, Gran Melia Cancun Beach & Spa or Fiesta Americana Condesa?

Those are all excellent choices. In my opinion any of them make for a great trip. They are all beautiful and have good reputations. The Hilton (was Caesar Park) and Melia are architecturally very interesting to me...I would look over the amenities carefully and see if one had something you specifically wanted...i.e. Hilton has golf, Melia has spa, Condesa is a little more "Mexican"...I even think the locations are similar if I remember...I personally would choose the Condesa, but would stay at any of them. Have a wonderful time !

I've stayed at the Condesa and probably would not again just due to the EXTREMELY high pressure from the time share people.
We finally had to get a bit surly to get them to leave us alone, and I don't like to do that!
I'd pick the Hilton.
