we loved the granola in costa rica. nothing like it in the usa ( that we know about). we had it in some hotels, and bought some at a supermercado. it is cut in fine granules. may be called "staff of life". is anyone familiar with this granola? we are trying to buy some, and have it shipped to us.

I assume you are talking about granola cereal.!

I did not know they had granola cereal in Costa Rica because when Iwas there six months ago,I brought a box of those soft chewy Granola Bars with me .

When I gave one to my private tour guide , he absolutely loved it and said they do not have Granola Bars in Costa Rica..so I gave him the whole box.

So I guess they have Granola ..just no bars!!??

I love the granola cereal down there! It is particularly good with the liquid yogurt that they have.
