It took me about forty minutes to clear from EZE and another forty to drive to the airport. My big problem was my flight from ATL was about two hours late and I missed my scheduled connection. Fortunately Cintia Stella, my travel agent, was tracking my plane and knew of the delay. She rescheduled me for a later flight.

I think cmcfong is totally correct. Driving Ezeiza to downtown can take even more in a bad day, be aware that there is a bus service from Manuel Tienda Leon that links the two airports, but of course that will take more time than a remise or a taxi.

I would say no less than 4 hours between the time your international flight lands and the time your local flight takes off. If you want to play it safe and allow for possible delays, quite a bit more, unless you have an extraordinary travel agent, as cmcfong had.

How about the other direction? Landing at AEP from Bariloche and a 9:40pm flight from EZE? We will most likely be staying in Villa la Angostura and returning a rental car so I want to have enough time pre-Bariloche flight as well.
Option 1:
10:50 Bariloche (BRC)
12:53 Buenos Aires (AEP)
Option 2:
13:40 Bariloche (BRC)
15:43 Buenos Aires (AEP)

Nitajan, are you flying LAN or Aerolineas Argentinas?
I think either option of your schedule would do, but just be aware that Aerolineas flights can have 1-3 hour delay. If that happens, you'll arrive at AEP at around 19:00. Just the exact time to catch a taxi or remise to EZE and arrive 2 hours in advance for your flight (which might be little, you'll be in a rush).

We had the opposite experience: had to leave bags at AEP for flt to IGU and, on return, go into Recoleta for Comida (broke our hearts, lol!!), before leaving for Bariloche.
Buen viaje y buen provecho.

Aerolineas because LAN doesn't have a morning flight. Ah, I know the safe thing to do is to take the earlier flight...just trying to avoid spending the whole day in airports. Maybe if we take the early flight and get in on time we can have a nice lunch before heading over to EZE.

Have a nice, long lunch at Rodizio Costanera, near the local airport.
