Flights BA to Mendoza

I'm planning a trip to Argentina in mid-March.

I wanted to fly from BA to Mendoza on Monday, March 21st and return to BA on Saturday March 26th (somewhat flexible). Aerolineas.arg online appeared way to expensive (492 usd being from the US). SW appeared much more reasonable, however you're suppose to book through the Spanish site which quoted a price of 141 Euro. Unfortunately, the site only seems to translate the first page into English but then changes back to Spanish.

I was wondering about other peoples' experiences of actually booking this type of flight. I also sent an email to Cintia at wowargentina.com to see what they could offer.

Any advice certainly appeciated. Thanks.

Tim, do not bother guides/tour operator. They are too busy for the mere air tickets. Call SW Air dirct. 0054-351-4266626. (No, they will not change back to speaking Spanish as the stupid website does.) You will save a bundle. Good luck. Eric

Tim, I flew round trip Buenos Aires-Mendoza on Southern Winds in January. I booked it on their webiste and everything worked out just fine. Definitely use SW as Aerolineas charges much, much more for the same trip.

The prefix for placing an international call to Southern Winds from the United States is 011 instead of 00....
