Flight from San Jose to Quepos - will we make it??
Hello,
We will be flying into San Jose at 2:25pm. The flights to Quepos are 2:30 (Sansa and Nature Air). Do you think we can make these flights, considering immigration time, etc??
I know it's a tight squeeze. If not - are there any other air options?? Or should we just get a driver (driver recommendations needed too, if you have any - I know of Leo and Carol already).
Thanks!

During the high season I think you better book the Sansa or Nature Air flights.
If cannot get a flight , you can always get a driver.

You know I was wondering if you were drinking when you asked that questions !!!!(LOL)
Yes ,you will make it if you use Sansa Air which has a very small air strip at the Juan Santamaria Airport( the San Jose Airport)...
Taking Nature Air you have to travel about 45 minutes away... to the air strip that Nature Air uses.
So book Sansa,...clear customs and head for the Sansa passenger area... but Sansa may be and often are a bit late , BUT don't count on it.!!!!
Have a good time

Dear cbdurf,
we just took that 4:30 pm flight to Quepos on the Friday afternoon before Christmas. Our flight (Delta) was delayed and didn't get there until 3:00 pm. There was no line in customs or immigration, however we waited quite some time for our 2 bags. Anyway, we made it within 45 minutes to SANSA. You go out the airport to the left and walk for 3 minutes and you see it on the left hand side. We even found someone to carry our bags for us for a tip. So you should be ok.
We drove back to San Jose from Quepos 4 days later in broad daylight, and we were really glad that we flew and didn't try to drive to Quepos that afternoon when we got there, we would never have made it in the dark. The streets are scary, and I don't even want to think about the last bridge leading into the center of Quepos.
