Family Vacation????

We have travel vouchers and want to take a family vacation to Mexico over Easter. We are looking for a resort that the kids age 6-10, could pool or ocean swim and a city with fun things to do...obviously not the bar scene. Anyone suggestions for a good location and a kid friendly place to stay? Very much appreciated....

Try the Playa del Carmen area south of Cancun. We've stayed at the Iberostar Tucan 3 times with kids those ages, and loved it. There are things to do in the area, such as Xcaret and Xel-Ha natural water parks, ruins to tour, swim with dolphins, etc. It is an all-inclusive resort, which is the only way to go with kids. Have fun!

I agree Iberostar is great. The Iberostar Paraiso is also great.
Others worth considering Riu Resorts, Gala Resort, Palace Resorts (Spa and Adventura Palace are adults only), Gran Caribe or Gran Porto Real.
There are so many good ones.
If you would like a link to my website which has virtual tours of all these resorts Email and I will send it.
I don't know if you are talking about
Holy Week or the week following Easter. Please be aware that Holy Week is the week that all the beaches are filled w/Mexicans the ones w/money stay at the hotels the ones without camp out on the beaches the towns are so crowded you can't even walk so beware of this. If you are going the week after Easter I woud recommend the Sheraton in P. Vallarta they have a great kids club and it's a great family resort and it's close to town and everything else. Any more info please ask
